That’s why at the end of the day the women femininity is dead when a women goes home she can’t be that sweet and attractive anymore. While a men even if he looks tired and dead after work he still sexy to a women eyes for a men seeing a tired women isn’t that h o t or attractive.. at all

So what I see reading is men are allowed to look tired and dead, their woman’s not gonna care about it, while women are not allowed to look tired or dead, their man will be turned off. That’s what that post says and does that seem reasonable or fair? No. Men got to do better and grow up, realize a person can’t be sweet and attractive all the time just because the person happens to be a woman. He wants that then he better be prepared to pay for her upkeeping and happiness, and maybe she can fake it well enough for him to believe it.

With this said I don’t think 9-5 is for anybody. It’s a complete bullshit life waster and soul killer but that’s another story.

9 to 5 was created as a result of decades of hard fought (and that "fought" is NOT a metaphor) struggles of the early labor movement. Time was, people, men and women alike, were expected to work from sunrise to sunset, and sometimes even longer. I guess human reproduction from 100,000 BC up through 1950 or so was exclusive to the nobility, who didn't have to have their women work at all, since if eight hours was enough to make women unattractive, then clearly fourteen would've killed them.

Hours worked correlates to $ earn't. Maybe men are conditioned to work harder. Certainly in my experience guys stay back longer to finish up the girls do.

Historically child labor was peak efficiency. "No men need apply" signage was common because they can organize and demand honest pay. Children work 14 hours get mutated to bits in the coal mine and spit out with another 12 Children ready to replace.

When we talk about a 40 hour 9 am to 4 pm work week, that only started in 1940. It was a brutal hard fought fight since the Industrial Revolution beginning in 1750.

Yes mill owners preferred women and children in the early Industrial Revolution as they were more docile. And yes the eight hour day was a quite recent development.

9 to 5 wasn't created. It's about sunrise and sunset. The numbers in between are just used to communicate different parts of the day. It's nothing more than a unit of measure.
