It's easy enough to go fishing for a couple of hours and bring in enough protein to fill my belly. Between fishing and my plant knowledge I don't think I'd ever go hungry. I can easily walk into pretty much any forest in Florida and get my self a cabbage palm, catch a few fish and make some swamp cabbage...

You think homeless people like to eat food from trash cans? No. But they want to survive. And if they refuse to work for a living then eating from trash cans is the only option. Personally, I would rather die than risk suffering with stomach pain and digestive problems.

Wouldn’t think so. But I have wondered if legit homeless are more mentally ill. I’d get day jobs, work up to hourly jobs and go from there. The ROI from asking for change these days can’t beat minimum wage, surely.

Especially since we aren’t a cash society anymore. Beggars need card swipers to keep up.
