Tired of New York what is a better state?

I’m tired of the Staten Island accent, I’m tired of the filth, weed smoke, homeless people, and the cold weather. I want a different vibe.

The easiest thing to do would be to move out of the city and into a town or suburb with a population between 20,000 and 200,000. Even in New York and California, the mindsets of small towns and suburbs is radically different and almost universally better/friendlier.

As far as states go... The above still applies regardless, but I personally would avoid any northeastern or west coast state (except Alaska) if at all possible, but I'd still rather live in rural New York or Pennsylvania than inner city Atlanta or Houston.

Austin, Texas, is great.

The gentlemen who said Florida are probably right although I have bad memories of the state but that's a personal issue, not Florida itself.

I've heard that South Carolina isn't bad.

San Diego, California, is a great city but California sucks. Don't go there unless you can afford that city.

Austin seems pretty douche I don't know why? I like southerners and Texans but Austin people seem different and cocky.

Phoenix? Although water is increasingly a problem.
I'm thinking Dallas if you don't mind living in a blue city in a red state and can handle hot summers. I was going to say Atlanta but there you will hear a lot of southern accents. Maybe San Diego. They have best weather in the continental US and their homeless problem isn't as severe as other major west coast cities.

I read that a lot of New Yorkers moved to Florida. Like most people, we all have a "Love : Hate" relationship with New York. I want to stay here because I love my job.

I work for a big chain that has offices in most states especially Texas, California, Florida, Georgia, and NY.

Then you got more options than I do. Go to Florida, Texas, or Georgia. Definitely avoid California because it's a deep blue state just like New York City.

Move out in the country, go out west, small towns, great scenery, a few of the same issues.
Nothing like waking up and looking at the mountains.
Some places the winters can be tougher, but once you learn how to get along it is just fine.

If you do decide to move to a state that has a more common sense approach to government make sure you leave all the liberal crap you may have picked up in New York at the border.
