I think it would be harder than you think to get those launched, no one wants to use them first, because they know the results. So we need a crazy ruler and a crazy military commands. If any human has any selfworth in between they will protest against it, because they know it will doom themselves and their family and friends.

Nope. We have never been close to nuclear war and sure as heck aren't now. Don't believe all the media and political hype about the Cuban Missile Crisis. There was no "crisis" and we were never close to nuclear war.
