Do you think what happened in Memphis is a result of black culture?

AL Sharpton said this would have never happened had the victim "been white" but of course, he never explained why. I hear a lot of talk about "police culture" and how these black cops "are a product of white supremacy" but it seems a relevant question is, is this just another daily occurrence of black on black crime? There seems to be a culture within the black community that is being ignored, a violent culture. A culture that has no regard for their fellow man's life. Would this had happened had the victim been white?

There are disproportionately more "bad shoots" by police against white suspects than black. A black cop is also statistically twice as likely to be killed on the job as a white cop, most likely because there's a much higher percentage of them in the most dangerous cities.

To answer your question though, the outcome wouldn't have been any different, except that grifter trash Al Sharpton wouldn't be saying anything at all, and it probably wouldn't have made national news outside of libertarian echo chambers.

The problem is that the police systems were designed by the white man and made us systematically racist towards black men so it doesn’t matter that the cops were black because the system is racist itself. The mayor was elected to change that, a black mayor. The black police chief was going to change that. You can't hide behind the "blame it all on whitey" excuse forever. In Memphis, blacks are in charge.

Yeah, it's a result of black nationalism. Morgan Freeman commissioned National Geographic to conduct an experiment and found that a black cop is just as likely to shoot a black suspect, because even black people believe that blacks are more prone to violence.

Do you think it might have something to do with Memphis lowering hiring standards? They are short 500 cops, due to retirement and good cops quitting. It's literally happening throughout the country. Memphis, in their haste to fill those voids, are basically hiring anybody with a pulse. Just curious what your thoughts are. I due question whether this particular incident was a result of "police culture".

I think it's important to note that Memphis has one of the highest crime rates in America. The police tend to represent your community. Because they recruit from said community. Want to change the community start recruiting better recruits from outside the community.

The vast majority of the problems within the black community in the US are a result of black culture. The fact that is not acknowledged is only harming black Americans.
