Why are many pregnant Russian women traveling to Argentina?

Many pregnant Russian women are traveling to Argentina so that their newborn baby gets Argentine citizenship and passport, which allows travel to more countries than a Russian passport. This has apparently increased since the Russian war with Ukraine.

This is sad and shameful. No one should have to go through this and they're scamming the Argentinian government. They shouldn't allow this.
I'm absolutely against pregnant women travelling to other countries to give birth. The only way I see this as a normal thing is if the woman is being threatened or if she comes from a country where giving birth is dangerous. Otherwise, it's unacceptable.

To get argentine citizenship, it's a anchor baby, and that's why I believe in jus sanguinis.
