Well, there isent really much nuance in the current political debates.

Should we allow child labor? How about no?

Should schools have books aside from the bible? Sounds like a good idea to me.

Should transsexuals be killed? I dont know, that sounds a bit extreme to me.

Sure, you might consider these things a bit on the extreme side, I picked them for a reason (mainly because of its comedic value) but the point remains that there simply is no reasonable debate in modern political discourse. One side has a political argument, perhaps it is flawed and could benefit from being discussed, but the other side is just pure evil and/or insanity. There isent anything more to debate on.

And as for "moderates", they are not holding actually moderate or rational opinions. Its like they are trying to find the middle ground between allowing child labor and banning it. There is no rational middle ground here to hold. I am not sure if people like Joe Rogan is stupid or just malicious but he is very much not "rational" and does not actually contribute to productive debates.

It is true and when I say "moderate" I am not referring to any specific group but those who claims to be in-between the two parties in USA specifically.

I also stand entirely behind my claim that conservatives in USA wants physical harm to come to transpeople and putting aside quotes, their policy suggestions also bears this out such as when Trump reversed healthcare protections. The rightwing is increasingly fascist and they increasingly support violent/physical attacks on their political opponents.

I am not saying Democrats are flawless, far from it. But there isent an opposite side to this. The democrats contains every acceptable (and extends to a few unacceptable) stances you can take on most of these issues.

Because of that pretty much everything outside of the Democrats have an extremist view on these topics. There is no trying to be "fair and balanced" with people who has inherently unreasonable positions.

here's an example if u show a kid spiderman and keep asking him if he is spiderman and limit his choices he might say he is for fun or for Halloween or feel pressured or want the affirmation or just say yes cuz u keep asking

Sure, there is an argument to be made about how to handle transgender children, but you already fall outside the acceptable discourse from the very start. The acceptable debate starts with accepting that they exist and then attempts to find a solution where as you are trying to shut down any chance to resolve this problem and leave it as an unsolved issue that keeps harming transgender children.

Because the debates don't matter. Neither side have the intention of carrying out any policy, both sides desire the stays quo. Easier to ignore independents than agree or debate them as it would give a voice to them, its the same with other parties that aren't democrat or republican. Most people don't even know there is more than two parties in America.

There's the green party, libertarian party, constitution party, working families party, working class party etc. These parties are a threat to democrats and republicans so both collaborate to marginalise them and maintain the status quo as there is so much money involved in politics.
