I'm a libertarian who is dissatisfied with the contemporary right and especially the right wing politician. I was a Republican when I was little, I was a liberaI atheist from age 12 to 17 but a smart libertarian mindee one, then became independent say this as someone who voted for Trump the first time. I became untrustworthy in Democrats and saw Trump as a better option, You guys lack nuance smh. On the Israel debate, you guys lack nuance. I'm not here to go on about Palestine being innocent victims. But u guys aren't really hearing the libertarian side. What ever happened to conservatives listening to libertarians? Conservatives sold out to Israel yet again. Boring. And also they sold out to police and lack nuance in police debates, many speakers lack nuance and are just as controlled opposition as Democrats. They don't take criticism. I used to ally/cooperate with conservatives and now I have a hard time doing so, I only ally with them on individual level. I'm not loyal to either party for there controlled opposition, I've never been a party loyalist and I saw this nonsense coming both of them were gonna become soft authoritarians

A lot of issues can be binary in nature. As a rule they are the easiest to fix. Drill for oil or not, close the southern border or not, prosecute shoplifters or not. A few policy changes can have a profound effect. Trump sees the low hanging fruit and sees the potential in just changing a few policies and enforcing a few laws. These things are doable and can reap big rewards. It's not rocket science. Things have been mismanaged for decades and politicians are more interested in pleasing big donors than the people that have put them in office. Trump tried to put America First.

Authoritarian meaning the establishment and politicians, and the fanbase now no longer nuanced skeptical of the politicians like in bush and Romney era now they just eat it all up what they say. They are blindly loyal to Israel still. They warn of a police state yet they view police debates with black and white lense "anyone who criticizes a cop in any context is a left wing fascist" I view police controversies through an objective lense, I'm not here to criticize black people or cops, I'm here to objectively analyze the situation. I can't prove that every single conservative is bad at nuance, I can prove the prevalence of black and white thinking and lack of nuance and party loyalty and. legalism in contemporary conservatism. By blind support for Israel, demonizing outside opinions as Liberal Democrat or Marxist, simplifying the cop brutality issue as "glorifying George floyd drug abuser and putting gun to pregnant woman belly" being common issues.
