Hello I recently purchased agricultural land that is in middle of no where and wanted to build a house but unfortunately no matter what plan I present whether from Amazon, House plan sites and etc, I kept getting cancelled within 24hrs.
There is housing crisis but for some reason I'm not able to have a house built for my family of one. I wanted to build a tiny house because it's cheaper and have plumbing and electricity since it's present on my land but for some odd reason I keep getting prevented from building anything. I've emailed the Los Angeles County multiple times and they never could explain why they denied me.
The permits I wanted approved were literally plans for the same tiny houses in Los Angeles in bulk.
I then tried applying for an ADU desperate to build anything and even tried applying for shed willing to live in that without stating that and got denied. Is Los Angeles County against people living in a home in general.
At this point I might have to live in a tent just so I can move to my new job since apartment hunting is not working at all.

In an email when I asked the county about the land uses they said I could:
Zone: A-2-2: Heavy Agricultural Uses: Building single family residence Crops cultivation (field, tree, berry, row and nursery stock) Greenhouses and raising cattle, horses, sheep, goats, Poultry, birds
I tried to build a shed or greenhouse desperate to build housing and they denied that too!
