Do you think we will ever have a female president?

Will/ Could men ever trust a female to lead? Even if just politically?

My dad mentioned female leaders from other countries, including Margaret Thatcher. He also mentioned he was going to vote for some lady, way back, but I believe he said she dropped from the runnings. 🤔

He said he’d also consider the female who has entered the runnings now.

Without any of us getting into specifics 👐 or saying what we believe politically,

I’d like to know from the men and women who use this site, if you personally believe,

we can ever get a female president, and if not now, ever? In the near future, possibly?

I also told my dad- I wasn’t sure how it could “look,” if we had a female president RIGHT AFTER having an elderly male president, who seemed sleepy and passive, or so.

We all know what our previous leaders did or didn’t do, but what about how it looks, or may seem to other countries who aren’t our allies.

Sure, other countries like Germany and the U. K. had female leaders, and that’s great, but will it look the same if the U. S. has one?

Is the timing of it going to prove to help or to harm?

Maybe our success shouldn’t come from looks alone, so with that-

do you think a female could lead our country? Or should this be a wait-and-see type of ordeal?

by the way, one user had mentioned systems. A healthy system- a systematic approach is what I’d think to be ideal. The “bad systems” shouldn’t be kept functioning.

I would vote for a ham sandwich if I thought it was capable of getting things done. When placing my vote, I don't ask what color their skin is, or what is betwixt their legs.. competency is what drives my vote. Or more recently, the lesser of 2 evils.

If someone votes strictly on the basis of race, sex, or other intersection of minority- I. E. 'we need a woman in the white house next year, better pick one out' I feel that's a wasted vote. I mean it's theirs to waste, sure, but I feel like it's a hell of a gamble.

I think she could.. but in order to do so, she would have to be a politician, and politicians only lie when they open their mouths.

That being said, I have just as much faith in the woman as I do the man. It would be interesting to see how much she focuses on actual policy, and how much time she spends mentioning her gender. I wouldn't say I don't trust politicians as far as I can throw them- because I probably could yeet one pretty far- but I will hold her to the same standard I hold the rest.

If we ever have a well-qualified woman, sure. But of course democrats will turn into hypocrites when it comes to being for or against a female candidate. They were all in for Hillary and female governors, senators, etc. But if the woman was a conservative then it's automatic sexism and misogyny from the left. They were all in when leftist women accused Trump, Kavanough, etc. of rape without evidence, but they ignored or rejected when Tara Reade accused Biden of rape. It's all about politics.
