What should be the penalty for supporting a terrorist organization?

Friends, someone who made propaganda for a terrorist organization was arrested. She defended herself and the organization against those who reacted by making posts supporting the organization on social media. As far as is known, she also participated in the acts, attacks. What do you think the punishment should be?

I think support is fine, you shouldn't punish thought even if you don't agree with it. I thin as long as you aren't sending the money or commiting acts of violence in their name, you should be left alone. Also, you know the saying that "One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter"

I don't see how it's any different to the crimes you committed. Just because your doing them crimes for a terrorist group don't mean you are punished any less if anything it will be more shrugs.

Define "supporting"- and, for that matter, "propaganda". Drawing up posters isn't the same thing as actively engaging in illegal activity.

I dont think supporting a terrorist organization should be a crime. The definition of 'terrorist organization' is very ambiguous and could change with the political winds; if someone takes it upon themselves to intentionally harm others for political, ideological, or religious reasons, that person should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

But simply agreeing with a terrorist organization? No, I don't think that should be considered a crime.

I can't fathom how you can possibly determine my appearance, but based off the simplest of grammatical errors, I sincerely hope that you're not responsible for determining any charges for the accused, since you've not reviewed any evidence of the claim. What you know of her actions are third hand at best and as such, cannot be admitted into courts as evidence anyway.
