First of all, referring to "incels" as a culture is a bit of a stretch. They define themselves as "someone who is unable to get a romantic or sexual partner despite desiring one". Key word here is "unable".

I don't believe "unable" one bit. What I do believe is "unwilling". They might not be the most physically or mentally attractive men, and they see other men around them, particularly on social media, who are. Those men are getting laid, supposedly, at will by beautiful women. So now they're angry, resentful, envious, and too fearful of rejection to do anything to figure out "what can I do given the cards I've been dealt". Instead, they direct this both the men who succeed with women, and more intensely at the women.

They turn themselves into misogynists by blaming women for having unreasonably high and unattainable standards, still maintaining that they started out "desiring" to be with a women. Guess what dudes - many women DO have unreasonably high standards that only a small percentage of men could EVER reach. So what? They are not your dating pool, and never will be.

Why transfer your anger with that group of women to ALL women? Hmm... because it's EASY to blame ALL women for your failure to learn how to play the dating game. The REASON you fail at it because you're "unwilling" to start first by looking at YOURSELF and evaluating your pro's and cons, fixable flaws, and personality in general.

Women repeat constantly that personality and other traits are far more important than looks, and for most instances (and by most, I mean the majority), this holds true, especially the older you get. Every incel I've ever known is a finger-pointing male who's simply transferred his own failures onto "all women". I believe some of this is a very peculiar mix of low self-esteem and ego/pride, convincing oneself that " I don't need to play whatever game this is, or simp out and cater to a woman's wants in any way. I'm not handsome, but I'm good as I am, so I don't need to change anything". Well you need to change something that you CAN change, because what you're doing isn't working!

The old expression "somewhere there's a someone for everyone" is true enough. Nothing is 100% guaranteed. It's bullshit blaming all women because you don't bring anything much to the table, or even if you DO, some of them don't recognize it, or don't want it even if they DO recognize it! You keep at it till you find someone compatible. That's what a real man does.

no. people are just going to continue on living their lives as usual. there's bigger threats to society out there than some celibate people.

if people are worried about the "threat" they can cause, here's a smart idea. don't piss them off.

is it a smart idea to keep kicking a dog or poking it with a stick repeatedly?

is it a smart idea for the government to keep send missiles to blow up the Hulk?

is it a smart idea to keep throwing eggs at Mike Tyson and expect him not to do something back because his fists are actual registered weapons?

as far as helping them is concerned, all we can do is tell them the cold harsh truth that their lives don't mean shit unless they have some sort of value to society. they can either learn to accept this or not. nihilistic has it may sound that's the reality men live in and have been living in for millions of years. even sacrificing one's own life for the family, for the tribe or the nation counts as some sort of value even if the names won't be remembered

I'm not sure that all of them or even most of them are a threat to society and honeslty anyone with poor coping skiis could become a threat to society. I think young people perhaps need to be taught better coping skills, and also that not having a relationship and not having sex does not mean one has failed in life. People place too much value on what family, friends, co-workers, social media and mass media indicate is required to be a healthy member of society, when really we should place value on what feel is necessary to be a healthy memeber of society. I've been single and celibit for years, one could say there was some choice involved because I wouldn't do hook-ups and date known players. However, at my age I have found value in myself and my career, in my friends and family who accept me for I am. I didn't always have friends, it took years to develop friendships, and it is awkward sometimes at work to be rare, a woman who's not married, not in a relationship and has no kids. However, I refuse to lets other people standards for life define who I am, jugding oneself by others standards leads one to always come up short.

I wish the so-called incels (I don't really like that terminilogy to describe people) could realize that they are worth so much more than their ability to attract woman and get sex. Many us may have that basic need to want to pair bond, and procreate but in our advanced civilized society it's not our only purpose in life.

Better mental health is needed among men. We also need to shut down narratives that give outdated and unrealistic expectations. Elliot Roger is a good example. He was an entitled spoiled brat thanks to his upbringing, and he struggled with mental health as well. He was 22 year old KID who thought it was wrong he was still a virgin at his age, and that mentality he had is a big problem.

We need better mental health help. Generally "incels" are just young lonely guys bitter at rejection or young men whove been royally screwed over by women. Usually when they get older maybe find a girl they are OK.

Humans are social animals. People removed from social contact can get seriously F#$%ed up.

Especially if said individuals have been rejected, belittled or bullied by others. Darkness seeps in and twists minds after which anything is possible.
