What do you think about POC only safe spaces?

There have been numerous poc only events established like rock climbing, parent-teacher conferences, and even proposed student housing for poc only. This is for non white students and people to feel comfortable and safe away from the white majority and whiteness. Do you think bipoc only safe spaces are a reasonable idea?

This is basically going backwards when it comes to racism. In the past, black people had to drink from different water fountains in school, sit in black-only seats, and many more divisive stuff. Then, racism was taken down little-by-little and everyone is allowed to share whatever they want. Now, these liberals want to separate whites and blacks again by creating these black-only spaces. Hypocrisy strikes again.
