The Marburg narrative continues to build… Just as a heads up for anyone listening, most deaths from Marburg occur due to hemorrhagic shock. For example in a previous outbreak 25% of patients diagnosed suffered from hemorrhagic shock and 100% of those patients with hemorrhagic shock in hospitals died. For those unfamiliar, hemorrhagic fevers cause bleeding and plasma volume loss. This causes hypotension (low blood pressure) which results in inadequate oxygen delivery to various tissues/organ systems. In early stages this can be counteracted with vasopressor to stabilize a patient, and in latter stages with fluid therapies. Funny thing just happened though, FDA stated phenylephrine doesn't work and pulls it from shelves… So what is phenylephrine? Well it’s a vasopressor used to treat hypotension commonly during surgeries… Of course they will tell everyone to go get the new experimental vaccine even though Marburg often spreads through contaminated needles... Yeah, they’re up to no good. Stay frosty...
