I'm thinking of going to Iran, what kind of problems will I have if I don't follow the rules there?

I've been thinking about going to Iran for a while, but what kind of trouble will I get most if I don't follow the rules there when I go? I would be glad if you write down all possible outcomes. ❤️

I met a girl from Iran studying in my country at University. When she comes back to Iran she has to be really careful because the police is really intolerant and can really come to annoy you in unexpected ways if you're not all dressed in a conservative muslim way, and guys on the street may harass you for that, too.
Same advice was said to one of my old bosses in a company, she had to go in Iran for business talks and got all the "rules" and recommendations to not get harassed or stopped by the police, which included wearing the hijab and being accompained by men around, not going alone.
There are some movies made in Iran that depict the type of society it is, I watched some of them. There is also an animated film.
Further, you can try a website called Interpals where you can talk with people all around the globe, by country.

if you are lucky you are just asked to leave.

But thats for every country.

The iranian specialties are what can get you jail time, eg just wearing a (metal) band shirt may be enough for jail.

You can be killed there if you not wearing a hijab well enough, Iran is a very dangerous place.
