Would you visit Iran if the war is over?

I just wanted to post this as a counterbalance to all the bloodthirsty wannabe tough guys. I visited India and they were ruled by Persians in the past. Some of the decorations on the Mosques look identical to what I saw in India. The stylised writing. They might have even been made by the same workers. So I think it would be cool to see what used to be the center of the persian empire. I've been to Rome and I loved it, because you can feel the history, like it's alive. So it would be interesting to see this :)

Yes, I've heard it's really nice. A neighbour of mine when I lived in Asia cycled from England to China and passed through Iran and said it was fantastic. This was 30 odd years ago and foreign terrorists are doing their damnedest to destroy that country

People shouldn't risk muslkm countries for tourism. just go where our customs are considered acceptable. Better yet go to Hawaii... no need for international visa!

I've never had any desire to visit Iran. I'd like to visit Iraq and see its history but I don't think that will ever happen.
