I am soon 39 and people thing i am in my twenties 🤷‍♂️. I don't think people know or understand how to guess someone's age just like that. When people ask me to guess their age i always tell them NO, it's never accurate. So yeah! This happens a lot all the time

I'm almost 49 and people usually think I'm in my late 30s or, at most, just turned 40. And, yes, this is somewhat common although in your case 38 to 21 I'd say that's less common.

I'm 17 and a senior in hs. People have mistaken me for a sophomore or junior many times and even a freshman once. Might I ask, are you Asian? They often tend to look young for their age

Thanks for the MHO and since I didn't see it before, i'm 30. But people say I'm 22 or a like...17. I mean i think they think I'm 17 but I do remember how one night in a hotel they were giving free alcohol. So i got me a soda and mondelo and lady didn't even ask for my ID. So apparently i'm in the 20s lol?

I’m 26 and a half. I’ve heard I look younger than I really am, ie 20 on my 26th birthday, or 14 when I was 21. Some thought I was older than I really am, like ten years older, when I have a beard (probably to offend me), but not too often. People usually believe me, but I can’t be certain. The thing is, I don’t believe in age. If I see a young 38-year-old lass looking 21, I’d believe her.

Same with me. I'm 32 and still get asked for my ID when ordering a drink that has a miniscule amount of alcohol in it. They don't believe I'm this old.

My dear Asker, many infamous actors look half their age. Don’t listen to those words (stupid, lying, untrue, weird). 104-year-old Jesse Tuck looks 17. Many, including myself, believe in no age.
