Guys, I'm looking for a home protection gun, but I want one like John Wick has. What kind is it?

Here's the thing... I have a.38, but it only holds five rounds.

When I have to go downtown I feel like I'm a scene from the walking dead. The meth-heads are everywhere. And now that we no longer enforce immigration laws, the fentanyl is flowing like a river into the country. And Protonitazene makes fentanyl look like Gummy Clusters. I think it came from a wet market in Wuhan, China. It was in the bat soup. Yeah, that's it. Bat soup.

I just want a gun like John, because it holds 800 shots.

In the original John Wick film, when our titular hero digs up his past (literally) his preferred pistol is a H&K P30L, chambered in 9mm with a capacity of 15 rounds, plus one in the chamber. His pistol is also fitted with a custom compensator. John also carries a Glock 26 as a backup, also in 9mm with a capacity of 10 rounds. I will make a point that the John Wick series does do a great job expressing the importance of reloading under duress and they do also keep the movie trope of 'bottomless magazines' to a minimum; my disconnect with the series is the insane belief that pistols only work within knife fighting range. But that's neither here nor there; if you're looking for sheer capacity, might I instead recommend a belt fed upper for an AR? Couple that with a forced-reset trigger and you'll have an excellent carry weapon for the downtown mobs. If the tweakers are too close, keep a pocket full of gravel rocks twisted in a zip lock bags and simply yeet those across the road, you'll be abandoned in no time.

My joke stemmed from when I watched TV shows with my dad. Those cowboys had 6 shot revolvers, and they didn't have to reload for days. lol
John Wick reloads, but apparently he carries several hundred magazines in his pockets.

Gummy, what you're looking for is a phaser from Star Trek, preferably the original series.

Shown in the picture below is Captain James Tiberius Kirk (adeptly played by William Shatner in his pre T. J. Hooker days) defending some planet from gerbils. It might have been Klingons, but I distinctly remember some furry life forms. That might have been people from GaG, but, again, my memory is fuzzy.

Anyway, a phaser should do the trick.

I want a gun that never runs out of bullets, like in the movies. And when I watched old Westerns with my dad, I asked him why they kind of fling the gun, like a whip. He said it makes the bullet go faster. I'm going to use that trick, also.

No that was not true. There are extra capacity clips that give you up to 25 rounds. If you need that many you are not aiming correctly.

Go to the gun shop and ask the clerk there to help you pick the right gun for you.

Don't get a gun that has heavy recoil as probably for your physical size and strength won't help you.
