I know he said he has trans friends and meant it in a way of different countries. Just the "act like victims" is confusing me too. Victims in one and extremist in another, but wording is important, some people actually think that way and that is scary for the exact reasons you mentioned. I hope he is what he said in the answer to my statement and not just avoiding backlash.
