Foreign Aid is a teaspoon of our budget. And Boebert is bringing it up so she doesn’t have to talk about Medicare, Social Security and Defense.

So where would you start?

I can’t they’re all dead. All born in the 1910s or 1920s. Social Security was only brought about so that people can pay their debts and business owners can keep track of their debts. We used to you have a lot of credit in our system “put it on my tab” and then people would disappear and not pay their bills so business owners were losing thousands of dollars the government put the Social Security system in place originally so that you can get what you were owed not for the government to come in and take some of your money because daddy needs you to save some money. Government is not your parents government is a bunch of morons like you and me trying to control the morons like you and me I’m sure they mean well, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. The best thing that the government can do is leave you alone why do you go about your own business and only get involved when you have actually murdered somebody or rape somebody or stolen from somebody. Especially nowadays, if you sold spoiled meat and people got sick, the reputation of your business everyone would know it’s your fault no one buy from you ever again. It takes time for or people will get sick, but once the reputation gets out that you’re selling horrible meat, your business will go bye-bye.

I have always thought that we spend too much on the military. We should stop getting involved in wars that take place in and between other countries. It's not our business unless it's a threat to us. Get rid or at least strip power from certain unions such as Department of Education. IRS needs to go too.

Eliminate unnecessary departments.
I would start with Energy, EPA, Education, Homeland Security. The first three are a waste and Homeland Security can be distributed into others. The 5100 member BATF can go too.

The Social Security retirement age should be 70. Ditto Medicare. FDR set the age limit 88 years ago. Medicare by Lyndon Johnson 58 years ago. We live much longer than '35 and '65 and its time to adjust them.

I have only my opinion formed by a lot of reading. Since I am not debating, but only offering an opinion, to which I am entitled, I need not offer "evidence". I've seen what and how little these entities do and believe several can either be scuttled completely or reassigned. This is my greater list with duplications I won't edit out. Where in the Constitution are any of these delineated? Where there my be essential functions among a few of them, streamlined departments could be formed with far fewer personnel and issuing regulations only if approved by legislation. For example. BATF and the hopelessly corrupt FBI could be absorbed into the US Marshals as well as the Secret service as a division.

Planned Parenthood, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the National Endowment for the Arts, Centers for Disease Control, the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, the World Bank, NATO, the United Nations, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Education, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Energy, and the Department of the Interior.

The purpose of government is to grow larger and take more of the citizens' money.

Conversely, the military got $858 billion dollars in subsidies for this calendar year not counting all the money that they won't tell us about. Cut that budget and give some money to health care and education where it really should go
