Musk loyalist who slept in the office fired - thoughts?

Esther Crawford, a Twitter executive who slept in a sleeping bag in the office and was 100% supportive of CEO Elon Musk, got laid off three days ago, despite assurance from the man himself that her job was "essential".

Many people took this as a sign that her loyalty was displaced or that she knew she was going to get the ax and her behavior was a last-ditch effort to try and save her job.

that's life. There is no loyalty in companies, most of them, it's about money, not loyalty. If you decide to work yourself to death for the employer, like I did, and get fired by them, like I did, then that's on you. Make your choices...

I can only hope she has enough savings so she isn't homeless in CA.

I don't necessarily agree with it, but who cares? Think musk will take some of his hard earned... billions, and give her a small salary of $300k a year. no way...

There is a recession underlying all of this you realize. No other tech company is faring much better. Any compensation or severajce? Any opportunity to come right back. Twitter has become so politicized outside of Twitter that I question the need for Twitter at all. I mean, isn't that just the world, before Twitter?

I think Musk is an innovator, but a horrible businessman and pretty much a despicable person.

He has no loyalty. That's the real problem.

She's foolish and she got played. She should have left when Elon made his "hardcore" speech. But hey, it's a learning process.

I don't actually see the point in sleeping at the office. You can't work if you're asleep. Maybe that's why she got fired? Either that, or the business went belly-up.
