not really. if you're talking about the H-1B visas it's a complicated subject

on one hand, yes Americans should be prioritized over foreigners for jobs however this should not be used as a sense of entitlement. yes they may be Americans but they're not automatically entitled to a job without earning it

the jobs he's referring to are the top-notch engineering jobs and if there is truly a skills shortage, nothing wrong with finding suitable candidates who happen to be foreign if there is none found within the American candidates

every other job especially those involving manual labor is a no for foreigners. as for specialized jobs? yes it's ok but only after selecting through Americans first

should the NBA only be limited to American players only? so no more Nikola Jokic? no more Giannis Antetokoumnpo? no more Victor Wembanyama? and just bring in American G-league players to fill the spots?
