Do you give your real-life experiences when answering questions?

I usually have a story about myself and my experiences when answering questions. I feel it brings more life to my answer and helps the Asker get a different point of view.

Yes, I do this sometimes. A lot of the questions can be answered with either a story from my past or an episode of the Three Stooges.

Most of my posts on this site are anonymous. I used to post non-anonymously till one day I posted the opinion that pets didn't have souls. That everything animals do are of instinct. And apparently I made a pink poster angry with that opinion. I'm an animal lover, I still think as the the dominant species God gave us reign over the animal kingdom. But as such it is our responsibility to be good stewards of that responsibility and care for them. But apparently that didn't translate to her. I will still ALWAYS put a human life over and animals. She didn't like this and stalked me from question to question harassing me for 2 weeks. This was my introduction to how unhinged some G@Gers can be. So now if I think anybody might be offended in anyway I post anon for my own protection. Besides good advice is good advice regardless of whether it comes from someone you know or whether it comes anonymously. 👍😉🙂
