He isn’t the only Republican threatening an invasion or war. There’s multiple now.

We have no need to declare war on Mexico we simply have to demand they stop helping Migrants as Trump did. Mexico hates the drug cartels even more than we do.

They may be smuggling drugs and people into our country, but they are terrorizing and murdering large numbers of Mexicans. Mexico is desperate to bring an end to them but Mexico is too poor to control their territory.

Mexico is basically the rocky mountains just going on further south. Unlike the U. S. Rocky mountain states. Mexico lacking a strong economic stability and a investment base was very slow to find the start up capital to build the very expensive infrastructure required to control and exploit mountainous territory that dominate their country.

As such much of Mexico remains isolated and largely out of reach from the Mexican goverment. In many ways this is the same problem as in Afghanistan except that it is on our border. Meaning it poses a very real and significant threat to our border states and the rest of the USA.

Problems that range from outright military threat such as the sacking of the City of Columbus, New Mexico in 1916 by Pancho Villa to the modern day Illegal immigration and the drug war.

Mexico's inability to control her geography has long been a major problem for the USA.

Ironically solution ultimately is helping develop Mexico, or at least the northern part of Mexico. If we provide investment funding to build roads, the same improved infistuture will allow a single state to better secure that region from the drug cartels.

I might but I don't favor war and killing people. We have to learn from China... they are smart smart and patient. This is where our 4 year term thing causes unnecessary pain and suffering.

Apply some pressure and let them decide. But lock up that border until they do.

There's no way around the reality that we need people and land to grow, people want to come to the USA... so lets bring it to them instead and make them successful. And lastly, we have the printing press they need and it blocks BRICS from taking over and risks of war on our borders.
