Why are some people emotionally abusive?

I’ve never understood what people get out of bullying others. For no reason but because they can?

There is some, as in very little, but some genetic relationship. They think there are some similar irregular genes within families where abuse runs through generations. I don't believe that to be a determinant. People choose or choose not Evil.

Now, my bestie said you have Asperger’s. In case you don’t understand, I’m going to explain this to you. It’s hurtful to other people if you snub them when they hit on you. All you have to do is say; ‘I’m only looking for friendship.’ Having anger outbursts looks like emotional abuse and gaslighting. Making jokes about someone having had feelings for you is cruel and it’s selfish to expect a whole group of friends poorer than you to provide all the food and drinks at a party. It’s rude and hurtful not to bring a birthday gift to a party. Touching a woman on the shoulder and pressing legs together at the movies is usually interpreted as flirting, so that’s why I thought you were interested. You might need to read up on body language. Telling someone that you don’t like them or that they’re boring or making fun of their feelings for you.. all of this may not upset you, but it upsets most people and makes them feel really bad. I have Asperger’s too, so it’s only just occurred to me that you may be clueless about your behaviour.

Bullies are typically people who were bullied themselves. It's an easy habit to pick up. You make yourself feel better by making somebody else feel worse.

I think the environment they grew up in has a lot to do with this.
