Is need for attention feminine energy or just wounded one?

For as long as I can remember (and worse now with social media), I've seen women trying to get everyone's attention. It doesn't matter if they know or care about the people. They constantly look for some sort of praise based on looks, accomplishments, and even facts that should otherwise shame you (like that big trophy of: I don't know how to cook!!).

With labels today, a lot of people will tell you that feminine energy is all about drawing attention. But is it?

I think attention seeking is one aspect of femininity, but at some point (having a man pursue her, pass the tests, then get her) it should switch off to an emphasis on warmth, comfort, support, and inspiration (all the softer aspects of humanity that are strongest in women). However, just like men's drive for pursuit has been corrupted (to where we simply pursue forever, never settling and making out home anywhere), I believe in some way modern society has corrupted this small aspect of femininity and made it the entirety.
