The Democrats can keep the jackass. It has never not been appropriate for them.

The Republicans should be a mule. Half of them are negligibly different from the Democrats, and the other half think they're prize stallions even though it's generous to say that 10% are worth more than a sack of rocks. Paint it purple to hammer the point home.
