i personally feel that whatever you choose to do career wise, it's your work attitude, passion, coping style and overall personality is what makes a difference. age and gender aren't that important. for instance, a guy can be a bad male nurse, because he feels ashamed of the job or his friends bully him for the profession or people don't recognise his skills, and not because he's a man and man shouldn't be nursing.

I think the advance in technology is helping to get rid of this difference. But I'd argue that 50 years ago, professions like wood cutter, construction, etc. were in did masculine because it require a body build that could endure the task before suffering from fatigue, and males bodies are better for that.

Why I do say technology is helping? Because now lots of things that required body strength now can be done by operating machines, and that can be done by either male or female.

Then works being too feminine (receptionist, nurse, etc.) yeah I believe that's unfounded and just based on how wives life were progressing throughout the last century from having hobbies, to making their hobbies their jobs (works related with design are an example of this) or having small jobs with little career that would allow them to still do what it was expected of them at the house back in the day (like receptionists) or tied to other things (most nurses were nuns back in the day, reason why the profession is linked to women).

Not really. There are a few jobs that require a lot of upper body strength, that few women have. There are some jobs that attract more women or more men, so I guess that counts, but I don't see anything wrong with people choosing what they want.

I think employment like firefighting or security guards should just be for men because it’s a fact men on average are stronger than women.

There is overlap but yes. Firefighting men will have difficulty carrying a 250 pound man down a ladder to safety but a woman piloting an A10 Warthog, the deadliest aircraft in history and killing bad guys? Makes me horny!!! Feminism has its place. Want to fukk with her? Ya better ask first.

I feel like the ideology of assigning masculine and feminine titles to jobs is very harmful as it hurts the individuals working in it.
Its why things like male teachers being seen in a negative light with children or female scientists not being taken seriously happen. A job is just a job and anyone can be good or bad at it.

Meh I don't know I'd be proud to be a nurse, helping others and saving lives on occasion and as a patient I wouldn't think anything of it as at the end of the day only real difference between a male Dr and professional nurse is one went to school. This said yeah some jobs are for men like mine requires a fair amount of strength and to be tall enough to reach somethings but I haven't and wouldn't say no to training a new girl on how to do my job

There are women that can do traditional man's jobs like commercial fisherman or lumber jack. However. They are in the minority. Other jobs traditionally male like machine operators and engineers have been able to be done by women for decades

That's BS. If I feel badly about a profession, then I wouldn't do it! I retired from Paramedics for health reasons, NOT because I thought it was too 'feminine'.

Almost any job can be done by either sex, but that's beside the point here. There is a reason why 99.2% of crane operators are male and 94.8% of daycare workers are female.

Men and women have different strengths and weaknesses. Which allows them to be better at some jobs and worse at others. Though there are some exceptions. And this only goes for a few jobs.
