Are "Fact Checker" Websites Reliable Sources of Information?

I would not trust them as its been shown recently that their 'Fact Checking' has been spotty at best, besides I like to check any 'Fact' given by MSM myself as they are invariably wrong in either fact, context or both.

Relatively. I find them useful for debunking information I already consider to be dubious. If something sounds too ridiculous to be true I look for reports from multiple sources.

Not the website itself. A lot of them do give reliable sources you can look up. But in general check the original sources.

In general, yes. I like Snopes, for example. I would say it depends on their sources and how they display the background information.

They've shown quite regularly to be biased. Marking things as "lacking context" when they favor the person and being incredibly "um technically" when it comes to people they disfavor.

Never used them. One way to fact check is to check two or more websites and compare the facts to what you are looking for.

Never trust just one site.
