Judge rejects Trump's bid to learn juror names at defamation trial

Donald Trump will not learn the identities of jurors expected to decide at an upcoming civil trial whether the former president defamed the writer E. Jean Carroll, who also claims Trump raped her.

U. S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan in Manhattan on Friday rejected Trump's renewed effort to require that prospective jurors provide their names, employment and 38 other pieces of information on written questionnaires.

Kaplan said the law was "abundantly clear" it was his choice whether to use questionnaires, and nothing has changed his decision to seat an anonymous jury at the April 25 trial, reflecting the threat of juror harassment.

Lawyers for Trump did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Trump had argued that his recent criminal indictment filed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg had brought on a "deluge of prejudicial media coverage" that would make it tough to find an impartial jury in Carroll's civil case.

He basically looking to name and shame them in front of base, He is dangerous man, he does act like gangster, if he doesn't get own way. He terrified the people who dealt with voters, and falsely accused of them of voter fraud.

I can understand why people like him, cause he wants a great economy, and helps his business. He basically wants a base for his business, and down to go down in history books.

He is very clever, the reason he won't call racism or and gangs on bad behaviour, is he doesn't want to be a target of assassination and his family will be target. JFK did this with the MOB, and it got him killed.

I don't believe someone on the outside will kill trump, i believe it will come from the inside, if they can't stop him from going to prison. First they will try the prison path, if not they will try and kill him. CIA run America, everyone is else just puppets, this was said by a congress men.

Trump, is always using tactics to make himself look good, or he uses his supporters to make him look good, it just makes no sense.
