A video of a visitor at the National Rifle Association (NRA) event in Houston over the weekend being corrected on gun death stats has gone viral.

Jason Selvig, one of the members of the comedy duo The Good Liars, spoke to the convention goer and discussed gun death statistics.

The man in the video claimed that in the U. S., more people are killed by hammers than guns every year. He also said that more crime is committed with hammers than guns.

"More people and more crime is committed and more people are killed with hammers every year than guns," the man told Selvig. "Look at the facts, that is true. Look it up, you can Google it."

Points of interest: Handguns by far are the most used weapon to commit homicide. Rifles were used less than blunt objects, fists, or knives.
