No, my ex is Muslim and so are two good friends of mine. I remember finding my ex attractive in a hijab, which surprised her, since to me it represented her showing pride in her culture/religion. Anyway, I think a lot of Muslims are very nice and a lot of them get taken advantage of due to it. However, I am pretty sure family dynamics are different, as I have heard many stories about a lot of Muslim families being toxic.
Is it poisonous? I don't think we can make a religious distinction to these toxic families.
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic lmao, but I meant I have heard a lot of Muslim families having members who gossip, are judgmental, and are not that encouraging. Of course each family is going to be different and it does not mean all Muslim families are like this
Hell no. Because of Zionist-fueled propaganda, a lot of provincial people think all Muslims are terrorists. That's absurd. It's ignorant.
The media can make people hate the people they want. None of those terrorists are Muslims. They just think they are Muslims. Their thoughts have been poisoned for the sake of the interests of certain countries. In my country, many people I know die because of these terrorist activities, and I no longer want to be called by the same name as those who killed us. My religion is Islam, not terrorism. Jesus is my prophet, so is Moses. I believe in a prophet who commands love, not unjust bloodshed!
Thank youโค๏ธ๐๐ผ
Of course! I am Turkish and our border with Syria is under the threat of terrorism. We are giving too many martyrs. Sometimes they drop bombs to the east, saying it was by mistake. They kidnap teachers into the mountains. They kidnap children at a young age. The media will never tell you this. In fact, contrary to what the media portrays, Syrians are doing a lot of harm to my country. They live in better conditions than us. They have no fewer than five children. They roam en masse and attack those who can afford it. They are so arrogant to say that we will take your country away from you! The only responsible for these people is the government that does not stop them. In general, this is the eastern part of Turkey. I could say a lot more, but that's enough... ๐๐งก๐๐ผ
Thank you, sister, for sharing.
I don't know much about what is happening in Turkey. I know people who traveled to Turkey many years ago who said it was the favorite place they visited. The sights were amazing and the people were wonderful. Similar to what I've heard about Syria and the Syrian people.
I know a LOT about what's happening in Syria. I know journalists who live there and other journalists who have spent a lot of time there over the past 10 years.
The terrorist invasion was horrific and, even now, conditions are terrible because of western sanctions. And Israel continues to fire missiles into Damascus and other cities.
I pray for you and your loved ones.
Our country and its people are beautiful, but even that small group is very harmful. I hope we can get through these bad situations completely. Thank you so much. God bless you. My prayers are with youโค๏ธ๐๐ผ
I wish everyone thought like you. I want to move to America in the future. I am studying special education teaching. America has always been exciting. But I'm afraid because of this exact question I asked. It makes me very sad when people approach me with an Islamophobic and racist attitude. I got used to people of all religions and races living together in brotherhood in my country. But I know that not all societies are like that. I hope my childhood dream of America won't let me down in a few years. Hope to meet nice hearted people like you.๐๐ผ
Right? For hundreds of years, Muslims, Christian, Jews and people of other religions lived side by side as friends and neighbors in Middle Eastern countries. They still so in Syria and other places.
One bit of advice for blending in with average Americans would be to wear western-style clothing. Even Middle Eastern countries like Iraq wore western-style clothing in the 1970s.
But some Americans today see a hijab and think of Islamic extremists.
In America, here are many Muslims from countries around the world. Many businesses are owned by Muslims. Muslims blend in all over in various fields.
I met a lot of Muslims at my former job when I worked as a motor vehicle damage field adjuster/appraiser. Many of them were unbelievably kind and generous. I had some really good Muslim friends, too. One owned a large Middle Eastern restaurant.
I hope you achieve your dream of making to America. People don't ask about other people's religion and employers certainly don't. It's not like you have to hide it, though. A lot of people appreciate other cultures here, especially the food. As long as you are polite, kind and caring, you will be treated in the same manner.
Send me a DM and let's stay in touch.
It's not a phobia it's plain and simple disdain against Islam and Muslims. Those religious nutters hate everyone without any credible reason.
People who killed Muslims and Christians years ago are now only trying to cooperate with Christians for their own benefit and to destroy Muslims. (jews) Years ago, the Ottoman Empire protected orthodox Christians and left them free to practice their faith. Knowing this, most Christians in Turkey do not believe such lies. But it is impossible to explain them to someone who learns most things from the media, because there are so many lies and mistakes.
No. I just don't want to get gang raped walking home

There's nothing wrong with them as long as they stay in their own countries and societies. Several muslim points of view are even more profound and truthful than modern western points of view. It's when they start infiltrating western societies that becomes a problem. (And of course when the reverse happens and zionist western societies start color revolutions and topple muslim governments they don't like).
I think that damned religion should be wiped off the face of the planet. Anywhere in the world where that religion takes hold it becomes a huge problem. Muslim refuse to clean up their mess, so I'll condemn the whole fucking religion.
@BouncyE
I don't five a shit what you think. What I said is true. That religion has been nothing but trouble since it's inception.
@windatmybackThey just wanted you to think that way
Nah, my family is Muslim.
I think Islam depends on how you interpret it.
Depends whether you class me hating religions makes me so or not.
I don't care what people believe! I'm just interested and that's why I always ask questions. I go to church, I ask the clergy my questions. I'm reading the Bible. I have always respected and loved beliefs, but it is sad to be branded as terrorist and bigot in return. Of course, the part that does this is the few and the ignorant part. Christian, Atheist etc. I have many friends. Also, my boyfriend is a Christian and we respect each other in every way. I love them all because they are human.
Islam is a beautiful religion! People misunderstand Islam and muslims greatly!
I just started studying 📖 it and i find so much beauty in it i implore others to do the same.
I do not fear Islam. I just know it is EVIL. Oh oh. Here come the censors.
Yes I'm Islamophobic. You know Iran is an Islamic country, right? I rest my case.
I am grateful that our ancestor gave us our political and social freedom. I know the events in Iran, but this is a purely political and sectarian event. If we really gained a perspective on religions according to the behavior of societies, we could call all Catholics murderers, right?
I'm Catholophobic too. When Islam achieves separation of church and state I shall relent.
I just want to be free to have my own beliefs and not be labeled as an infidel.
Not every Muslim does this. But Arab Muslims can call even those of their own religion a disbeliever. Because of the sectarian difference. Also because it's ignorant. Just like the orthodox catholic relationship.
No, I hate ideologies which are based on lies and violence.
hate all*
Nope.
