The thing is whether you are for or against this type of method of ending a pregnancy one has to determine the perspective of the person with the opinion to understand their point of view. You obviosly feel that life, personhood, ensoulement etc. begins at conception so ofcourse you and others with that perspective would be horrified by this. The opposing view feels differently and doesn't think personhood or ensoulement begins at conception or even that early in the pregnancy, even if biologically the DNA code begins. So they won't find it inhumane to end a pregnancy that early.

Well that’s precisely my point though. You can’t expect people to be horrified by this if the just see the fetus as lump of cells at this point. I’m not saying they’re right. I’m saying this is their perspective. You believe it’s life plain and simple and are clearly horrified that this is how a pregnancy could be ended. That’s understandable if that’s what you believe. Soul probably the wrong word but that’s how people think of personhood and state of consciousness. Look all I’m saying is as long as people are able to have such opposite perspectives on when personhood begins there is going to be different reactions to abortion and abortion methods.
