Well for one I think it’s a big hoax. Earth has been around for a long time, much longer than humans. I’m sure Mother Earth knows how to take care of herself. Maybe the reason why it’s heating up as they say is because like the human body Mother Earth is trying to kill us because we’re a virus. I don’t think most people really care. I say that because people have more pressing issues on what’s going to kill them faster, like poverty. Or living in a neighborhood riddle w crime, gangs, etc. Diabetes, heart attacks, strokes, etc. Now if everyone was well off I’m sure they’d care more about the environment because they wouldn’t have to worry about as many things as they do on the lower level of the pyramid.

They do not, so when they make us not use bags in the grocery store, for example, China and India are blowing through billions and billions of them, to the point where all of ours combined wouldn't make a dent in the situation. Plus the reusable bags have to be washed a lot to keep them clean enough for food, which uses way more energy and resources than plastic or paper bags.

As an Indian, I will say they don't really look at this matter. The state government of my state is bringing environment in attention and things are getting better in my area but we can't really do a climate change alone without actions from the central government of course.
