Not just USA , Australia is pretty similar , I do know a guy who did this ( he is gay and wealthy ) and I must say he does make a wonderful father , the way men are being treated in general now , its something that many will have to consider.
When you have done nothing wrong , and all your rights have been just swept away , and then on top ordered to pay child support , its a very bitter pill to swallow , I'd advise all men considering becoming a father to proceed with caution at all stages.
It'd be far better to just improve the family laws. We as a society are finally starting to admit the dangers of single motherhood (often in stupid ways, as many single mothers aren't that way by choice); admitting the dangers of growing up without a father while ignoring those of growing up without a mother is rather hypocritical- especially in light of the sheer number of kids in need of adoption.
Very hard for any guy to find a willing surrogate and even if he could it would cost the equivalent of 200-500 thousands dollars.
The cost of surrogacy in Mexico ranges from $55,000 with your existing embryos, to $62,000 for a standard program including donations, IVF, surrogacy and all... www.sensiblesurrogacy.com/.../
That is not cheap an may not be affordable by men with the medium USA income. However, 34% of men earn more than $100,000 per year and for them it would be affordable.
Mexico is not America. No guarantee the surogate mother doesn't take the baby and the money
Is Mexico good at enforcing laws?
Don't drink the water I'm told
