Should a man be able to abort parental rights if a woman wants the child but he doesn't, aka not pay child support and be involved in the kids life?

In light of the roe versus Wade decision, for my pro-choice friends, if the woman wants the baby, but the guy doesn't, and is absolutely sure he doesn't want a child. Should he have the right to abandon parental rights?

Child support is not designed to punish or reward people for their choices. It is intended to make sure that children have enough financial support for their needs as they are growing up. Why should the child be punished and not be supported just because he has irresponsible parents? If a guy doesn't want to paychild support, there's a simple solution: don't have unprotected sex, don't make babies.

I see this same question periodically and I am embarrassed for my gender that so many guys want to be irresponsible. Guys, grow the fuck up!

It depends on what the state rules for abortion. If women get to keep aborting in a state, then men should be able to abort their responsibility for a child as well.
