Also, it’s not true that a former VPs don’t run against their running mate. I’ll take you back to the election of 1912 teddy Roosevelt, who sat down after two terms, ran for a third term in the Republican Party because he thought the guy he was a terrible president his own VP William Howard Taft (who was our fattest president the only president to sit on the Supreme Court after being president) the Republicans nominated Taft in the primaries. TR didn’t like that so he started his own Bull moose party and ran against Taft. Which split the Republican Party and Woodrow Wilson won the presidency

Biden's competence as president has been questionable. His leadership is a source of national embarrassment. If he were to win re-election, I would be suspicions of election manipulation. It's not about disliking the person or adhering to rigid political ideologies; rather, it's about being aware of the current state of affairs and making choices that seem best for humanity. Given the fiscal recklessness of the Democrats, some individuals would consider voting for Trump as an alternative. I would be one of those people.

I think Democrats are positioning to force him out. Even now, they are looking for a better ride. They will consider RFK Jr.. Joe might not even make it to the starting blocks and, if he does, then what will Dems get if he wins? There are others that GOP-ers may not like but can help stabilize the party which has been overwhelmed by Woke. One is the obscure Jeh Johnson, and there are others. Democrats have to find someone with enough appeal to switch votes away from Trump.

He shouldn’t run but he will. His ticket to re-election is Trump. He’d be dead in the water against a reasonable republican candidate but Trump is even less electable than Biden. I think moderate swing voters now understand how damaging a second Trump term would be and won’t let it happen. The only wild card is Biden’s health. At age 80, a lot can happen by Nov. 2024.
