Is the rest of America jealous of New England?

For starters, this is where America began.

Pilgrims arrival. American Revolution and the "Shot Heard 'Round The World". Best sports teams in the country. Biggest fishing industry (lobster, crab, swordfish, etc). Boston is the most visited city in the US (people must love us). More lighthouses per capita than any other region. Harvard University. John F Kennedy. The list goes on...

You know, if it weren't for guys like John Hancock, Sam Adams, John Adams, Joseph Warren, Paul Revere, and those daring "farmers with pitchforks" at Lexington and Concord... this country would still live eternally under British🇬🇧 rule (like Australia and Canada).

You realize when the pilgrims arrived that the Native Americans already spoke English right? Squanto was brought to Plymouth to translate... How do you image that happened if English speaking people had not already visited America for long enough to teach the Native Americans the language? You didn't really think that one through did you?

Let's be honest here Alaska is an adjective to more exciting in the USA. Alaskan roads, Alaskan fishing, camping, hunting. Then every tv show has an Alaska special episode.

It's the last frontier compared to the first rock. Don't get me wrong i hate this state but everyone gets their rocks off about it.

High prices, high taxes, mostly lame state governments, double the food served at restaurants, humidity you need a chainsaw to get through, 70 one day 40 the next and 80 the day after, needing a jacket or sweater at night in the middle of July.

No. Because New England generally are the biggest toilets in the country places like Boston, New York, Philadelphia etc. The history is some of the few redeeming qualities.
