Is the rest of America empty, or have all Americans moved here to New England (particularly Massachusetts)?

I understand that Massachusetts is now the "most desirable" state to live in in America, with New Hampshire at #2. But just because this place has "good healthcare" "superb schools" and is apparently "so pretty" doesn't mean that everybody should swamp it.

I nearly lost my job for being late as I was stuck in traffic (our highways and back roads were empty 10 years ago!) on account of some yuppy transplant families from Chicago and Texas and California.

Does the rest of America not have nice scenery or good ways of life?

I used to live in Nashville, transplants go wherever they please and usually follow the housing market. The transplants turned downtown Nashville into some gentrified wannabe Los Angeles and I fucking hate it. I get your anger, I know your frustration, but if you genuinely think being angry at these people is enough to make a change you would be sorely mistaken. What happens now is beyond your control, the most you can do is learn to ignore what you can because if your happiness relies on the actions of total strangers, you’re never going to be happy.

I don't know much about Massachusetts, but I just googled it and the South is actually the most populous region in the US. I don't know where the Northeast ranks. But the East and South were settled much earlier than the rest of the country. Many of those people are descended from the original settlers. The East is also where most immigrants came, because it was the closest place to Europe and Africa.

That being said, I live in the West and as a whole, yes. These parts of the country are generally more sparsely populated. Most of the population is centered along the coast and Great Lakes. The interior is still largely wild. There are places in the West where you can drive for hours and not pass a single town. We have no shortage of beautiful scenery, I assure you that. The Western USA is actually the most beautiful part of the country.
I don't know what's appealing about New England. You have fall colors, so what? So do other places.

The reality is that people in Massachusetts are leaving in droves to more citizen friendly places. The high taxes, high crime and the fact it is overrun by illegal aliens is making it difficult to live here. There is a play by the state legislature to force towns to change their zoning laws to build cluster housing. The fallout from this will adversely effect the lives of every resident in these towns.

LOL. The vast majority of state-to-state migration has happened from blue states to red states. That's per the government's own numbers. But, yes, there has been some blue-to-blue migration too - which should tell you how badly the Left has screwed up the states on the West coast - the places where they ran everything (and ran everything into the ground).

I remember reading that the northeast has the highest population probably because of jobs and people like four seasons but it’s more expensive here too, maybe they are from all around but people are leaving Long Island because it’s too expensive here so maybe they are going further north and south plus illegal aliens go wherever more people are

No, it's quite literally the opposite. South Carolina, Florida, and Texas have had the largest growth. Washington, Oregon, and California have had the largest number of people leaving. This comes straight from the Biden administration's own numbers.
