Did you or your friend/relatives ever got into pyramid schemes/multi level marketing?

What was your experience?

For those who don't know, pyramid schemes, which advertise themselves as multi level marketing, are a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products. Or better, there are products, like health supplements and makeup or the like, but it's almost impossible to make money selling those - especially because you are encouraged to sell them to family and friends.

Okay I am going ti be real honest with you. Pyramid scheme so call business or should i say scams destroyed Families, marraiges and bank accounts. This Pyramid scheme uplines or leaders will control your life tell you what you can and can not do you can't even make decisions on your own your upline has to prove of it. They will tell you to cut off friends and family if they dont want to get involve in the so called business. My ex husband got involve into amway to the point where he would be doing th amway dance at 3am and forndinner he would clap 2times and scream amaway amway. Please stay away at all cost. It will also damage your metal health. Oh and you can't shop at normal stores like cosco walmart target like normal people do the up line will force you to only by from your own so called business. These pyramid scheme will force to getca loan or a pay with credit cards to the point the upline will encourage to neglect your bills house payment.

Nope but I had an old classmate try to get a friend and me into his travel snow ball thing haha it was fun and I actually attended some events they made but I wasn't stupid and knew what was behind it

I actually worked in a couple, in my younger days. Mainly to get an inside view of them and the sort of people in them.

They tend to attract weak willed people, but with a strong work ethic. Which is a strange mix. But these are the sort of people who would work at McDonalds picking up your kids puke for minimum wage, or would work in tech running batch tests.

Basically, people who, if given a different opportunity, would work brilliantly at simple tasks. More succinctly, they are not evil people, just people not too bright at thinking about doing something better.
