I was reading Hitler's trial. He spoke for 4 hours straight during his opening speech in court. One of the things he said was that "Those who will not fight do not deserve to live. Yes I meant to do what I did." Paraphrasing

So my opinions are under purplepoppies post. Somehow I was notified, that someone that posted here did post, it showed me his name and I could see his reply and even write a reply myself. BUT the moment I wanted to send the reply I was told I can't write it because the user blocked me.

1. Why are people blocking me?
2. Why can I still see their posts first and only after refreshing or trying to answer does it show me he blocked me?
3. Why can't I see his reply now at all?
This doesn't make any sense.

Hitler probably isn't the best person to get life advice from. It was that mindset that caused both world wars and countless before it.

I understood the use of this quote as a pro pacifist argument. Hitler was no pacifist and his quote proves it. I dont think and hope the asker is using it as a pro anti pacifism quote.

It's that mindset that preserved Germany from being conquered by romans... hello. You know the English were the Welsh before the Germans invaded Britain in 600 a. d? And before then, the native British were under control of Rome. Then they went under control of the EU. Looking at genetic evidence it seems celtic males were 3 inches shorter than germanic males, had scrawny bodies AND were not courageous AT ALL. I'd say you have a thing or two to learn FROM him.

I think if you are being attacked this whole quote changes meaning but hitler was literally the opposite of thinking of defending. He was all about attacking and meant that those not working for him are either going to die in battle or getting slaughtered if they surrender and Those that work for him need to be able to die for him.

Well we can learn a lot from him. Learning from errors in history is a great way to learn. For example his rise to power can not happen again in germany because we have a better constitution to avoid, facism. Which we specifically did because it happened in the past. You can't change the past but make the best out of the future.

Oh dear someone skipped history. Welsh simply means Roman celt. There were no English before the Germans came The Germans only came over because a large number of us had followed the emperor Magnus Maximus into Europe leaving the land poorly defended. The fact is we beat the germans and forced them to accept a treaty stopping their westward advance into civilisation. The welsh considered themselves roman for a long time afterwards.

@msmissydc not racism, just population genetics... over time, a culture gets its own distinct alleles/genes. This is why germanic and celtic people come from the same group, but through isolation, the genes that their environment selected as favorable are slightly different. In the case of the French, they are MORE feminine on average than Germans. Facts. Check average testosterone levels. Look at the morals. In Germany you had Valhalla, in France you had druids who do magical bullshit.

Maybe my opinions lack factual support. But the ONE fact I need, I have. That is that on average, Germanic males have always been more masculine than Celtic males.
Now as Alexander said, culture is more important than genes. He would rather have an army of sheep led by a lion than an army of lions led by a sheep. Culture > genes. That's why the English Celts conquered the whole world with a germanic culture in hand.
