Years later their child also has a child.

Does that mean the grandchild has European ancestry since their parents were born in Europe?

I believe not.
Yes, they may be citizens of the country but they don’t have European DNA ancestry.
White people are the people who are genetically European I believe. White skin is a European gene.
Also blue eyes is a European gene. There are many white people born outside of Europe with blue eyes.

The ancestors are the earlier generations and the recent ones are the citizenship countries. So if a Chinese woman lives in North America and has kids, her kids are North American Citizens with Chinese Ancestry since her grand daddies were Chinese.
