It is important to remember that Musk is not completely unrestrained. He is only allowed to behave like he does because he is getting payloads in orbit much more cheaply, quickly, and reliably than NASA, which makes him a central part of the USG’s security. That said, he depends on government funding for everything he does. So he and the ruling elites are in a sort of awkward dance. It is also important to realize not everyone who passes through the WEF is groomed by Schwab like Trudeau, Ardern, Freeland, Rutte, et al. Finally, it is important to remember Musk is a liberal with some very odd fascinations like polygamy and transhumanism and, it seems, free speech.

As for Carlson, he doesn’t seem like containment to me. We’ll see if that changes, but he’s been increasingly reactionary.
