I agree. Globes are total BS. Earth is flat.

Technically the earth isn't round its a ellipsoid, the rotation the earth causes it to be wider at the equator than it is around the poles.

That said this woman got only 3.4% of the Georgia republican primary. It is rather hard to say she even represents the Georgia Republican party. Nor are her views on the exact shape of the earth relevant to her local post.

Regardless of her 3.4% if the Georgia Republican primary, she gained enough votes to win the GOP District Chair. That is how she represents the Georgia Republican party. And her flat earth views fit right in with so many Republican beliefs.

@Red_Arrow District Chair isn't exactly a high position, nor are her views on the exact shape of the earth relevant to that position. 3.5% is only about half as many people who don't beleive in the moon landing and that chocolate milk comes from brown cows at 6% and 7% respectively. Its also less than the 4% of Americans who believe lizard people secretly run the US.

Sadly few Americans also know what their State or Federal Constitutions says, and what their goverment is actually allowed to do.

Would you like to pick a topic that both "mix shit into" and compare it for sheer shit volume and relative truth? I might have agreed with your statement prior to the Reagan years, but since then, the argument that "both sides do the same thing" simply isn't true anymore. That doesn't mean the liberals are truth sayers all the time, but todays conservatives do not even know what truth is anymore. They make up their own, and they actually believe it.

The Republican Party and Conservatives today follow the same doctrine that time share sellers do:
"TAFT" - "Tell (them) Any Fucking Thing" - anything at all, as long as you make the sale.
