I think our big problems are international in nature... for those have global implications that are important for the nation, and in the greater view, our global community of global people living together, in one coheisive global community. There... I thought I'd write something that sounds like Kamala Harris so people on the left feel comfortable with the rest...

the global issues are debt/default/inflation and starvation, de- dollarization and energy security, military conflict. I'm not really sure we can solve any of them at this point.

I'd favor Trump given that perspective. That makes Desantis worse, I just don't see him handling all that stuff because he's not as big of an $!-hole, and it takes one to deal with it all. He could surprise me given he's the only one I know of that's X military.

However, if Trump gets in, our problems become demonistic... oops fruedian mispelling... I mean domestic, as the far left and probably middle left goes berzerk in fear, as he's incessantly attacked.

It should be fun and exciting, I'm stocking up on popcorn...

God, this is a hard question. I wanna lean more towards De Santis and I really fear for America if he were to win the presidency. Trump is dangerous with his mouth and stirring up shit but I gotta say he didn't really put any active measures into place that really impacted America detrimentally other than his inactivity and indifference with COVID. As much as I dislike him I gotta say under Trump gas prices were at their lowest in years, the job market was pretty strong, and we weren't dealing with a lot of global adversarialism with the major powers.

But De Santis... De Santis is more racist than Trump and he has gotten shit done for Florida but he's also full of malice and you can see it. If he gets in office he will no doubt be a major threat to people of color and women, and the horrible part is that Congress will probably pass a lot of his bills.

I think they are both good. I think that Trump is the better choice in 2024 mostly because he has the experience. He knows how to fix the things that are broken in this country because he has done it before. Recently he was asked what he would do to fix things that are broken in this country and off the top of his head he listed about 6 things and you knew that they would work because they worked before. He is not likely to repeat the mistakes he made during his first term such as choosing the wrong people to run his administration and underestimating how deep the swamp in Washington really is.

DeSantis is the future and hopefully he will b allowed to build on what his predecessor has left behind. I think that America's best days are still ahead.

When the recording of that call is heard in ots entirety and not just a short clip taken out of context the whole case will fall apart. The democrats are indicating him for everything they can think of. How many women do you think they can find that will say that they were raped by Trump? I bet a whole bunch with lawyers salivating over big paydays. Judging by the donations that have been rolling in to Trumps campaign fund and his standings in all the polls I thing Americans can see through all this BS.
