Would Ron DeSantis have been a better choice than Donald Trump?

I was hoping Trump couldn't run again because of his court cases. I really liked Ron DeSantis he had more of a controlled-style, he went to Harvard, so he would have known how to bypass Congress successfully. As an accelerationist I wanted someone who can accelerate the downfall of society safely, but Trump wants fast action all the time and he's just a wannabe dictator.

DeSantis would have been a more competent leader from an acceleration standpoint that would have been more successful at accelerating the downfall at a reasonable pace, so we can rebuild society after everything once it collapses.

Trump is accelerating things but he is not doing it in a controlled matter.

From an acceleratist perspective do you think Ron DeSantis have been better option?

I was with you on hoping Ron DeSantis would do it instead. I mean in my head, I just envisioned a repeat of 2016. After these few weeks of Trump though... I don't regret my vote for him at all. Then Dems are being forced to suck it hard and choke on it. Took their money that they used to pay for riots, so we won't see that shit anymore. HA HA! They're straight fucked now.

Bottom line... I wouldn't trade this Trump and JD Vance stuff for anything in the world right now. I absolutely love what's happening. I'm not exactly an accelerationist, but I almost was... not going to lie.

I mean Trump is still pushing things forward, but he's getting push back now because he's doing too much. The Judges are shutting down DOGE because Trump told them it was some woman who is in charge of DOGE and they showed clips of him saying Musk is in charge of DOGE.

All Trump had to do was not say anything or tell the media it's that woman in charge and he would have been fine now DOGE is under investigation. DeSantis is more careful. Now Trump has to set limits on Musk.

Trump talks too much and now it's another delay. But I mean it's still moving forward so I am not too upset.

I mean I think you're right, but those activist judges would've come out of the woodwork eventually and it's better to get them out in the open and let them FOFO sooner than later. I mean if we just sit on our hands and wait... we might not hold the house or the senate down the road.

I like DeSantis, but I honestly don't think he has the testicular fortitude to do what Trump is doing now. I mean the more I think about it, it's probably better that Trump gets this villain status since his image has already been shit all over on by the leftist media. The hard fixes, probable side damage, and most importantly the funding for leftist NGO's that fund riots or activism, once removed, will make that spot cleaner and better for someone like DeSantis or JD Vance in 2028 to stroll in.

I mean DeSantis might be a better choice, so it's better that Trump uses his last 4 years to clean it up before someone like him gets in there. So that DeSantis's first 4 years won't have to be about dealing with activist judges and bullshit like that.

All in all, I'm just thankful things are finally happening. I'm glad Trump is doing anything at all... He was stuck during his first term... he was getting roadblocked way more than he is now and I think he's overwhelming them with all these executive orders. God I love to see it.

DeSantis would have been safer. Doge cutting funding from Ebola prevention is a stupid idea. I want acceleration, but I don't want people dying from a plague or for us to go back to the biblical times where we are dying diseases that China sends our way.

DeSantis would have been slower but at least we the US won't be uninhabitable. He's moving things too quickly.

Possibly. I think De Santis would've taken his job more seriously. Trump seems more pre-occupied with trolling Democrats and trolling other countries.

No, but he will be a good prospect in 24. But I think he will replace Senator Rick Scott. Both are term limited.
