The ones sold in the US are actually made different. The original surprise eggs were found to be a choking hazard. But if you did find some, they could be there illegally.
I see!! Yeah, I can see how that'd be a problem! I've got one sitting right here with a toy car ion it you have to build! The guy down the street has a couple kids I could give it to but, I'm waitin' `til they're old enough not to put it in their mouth!! The two older ones SHOULD be past their oral stage, by now but, apparently, there's a third on that's only about a year old! If I find someone else with an older kid that wouldn't choke on it, I'll give it to them. The tricky thing is, they're made for little kids but, by the time they're old enough to know how to build them and not swallow them, they're almost to old to be interested in a toy like that!
Home > Society & Politics > Questions > They say Kinder SURPRISE eggs are banned in the US. Yet I saw my local Armenian store sell them. Why are they getting away with it?

Yes they are actually the original Surprise eggs
If this is an Armenian store in the US maybe they had them shipped in and they're not actually supposed to be sold.
I don't think they have a surprise anymore. I see them at gas stations all the time.
Most of them marketed in the US are called Kinder Joy. But a few of them are actually called Kinder Surprise.
Why? What's wrong with them?
Apparently a toy in the Surprise egg is a choking hazard
Stupid fucking parents
