It's already happened with smart phones, smart tvs, tablets, laptops, home cctv etc. You ever notice how maybe you are talking about something like getting a new washer, a celebrity or an event happening around the world and it turns up on your social media feed right away or predictive text in Google already spells it out from one letter?

I mean they are passively listening to you. Try sometime with your phone in proximity of a desktop computer. On the desktop go on YouTube without signing into it, YouTube will quickly work out who you are and what recommend

If you have a smart TV the odds that it has a camera in it is pretty high
Your computer is your laptops if you have a camera on your computer if you have a baby monitor with the right frequency and code you can get in and watch any of it and one of these days I'm sure everything that is smart on it will have a smart camera too somehow wired into the system
