Do intellectually lacking people not realize they’re dumb?

I know a lot of not very smart people, nothing wrong about it!… I’m typically patient and understanding. my issue is how I’ll occasionally find an idiot who wants to talk down to me when they’re clearly the one who isn’t all there. Do they honestly believe they’re smarter? It’s baffling. I know I’m dumb in some areas but there’ll be a person with an IQ of 80 treating me like the moron.

Lol exactly.. Not only they don't realize it, but sometimes they even think of themselves, as geniuses. I know a girl, who constantly posts cringey videos of herself on social media, pouting, twirling her hair, biting her lip, is arrogant and rude, puts down other women for their looks and asks cringey questions. She also, can't even formulate a correct sentence in English. Yet she has a quote by Stephen Hawking about smart people on her profile 😂

Today at work I had this reoccurring experience with a coworker and it was harder to look at her without cringing then it was to look at a dude with a mass the size of a golf ball on his face. He took me aback for a second but then I was unbothered. Her on the other hand I washed my hands after brushing against her.

That girl was conventionally attractive, but unfortunately she was also very vain and mean. She thought the world revolves around herself and that everyone should bow to her. On the other hand, I've met average and unattractive people, who were respectful and kind

Fear makes you be less friendly. And less smart. Chronic fear is not a good thing. But also lack of fear of fluoride for example, pesticides, will lower IQ too. Anyway would you rather say that these people are full of fear? Are they stressed out?

Fear makes you both dumb and unfriendly. You can be so afraid that you don't care whether you're dumb or not. I know what it's like, and it makes you see everyone as an enemy.

Also you might be talking about them projecting, them assuming their habitual dumbness onto you. They probably heard it that they're dumb but can't grasp how it's so, so no, they do not realize how EXACTLY it is that they're dumb. They may just have a suspicion.
