Oh baby, let me tell you, these guys lying about being liberal are just trying to get into your pants with their fake political stances. They're like chameleons, changing their colors to blend in with their surroundings, except in this case, they're blending in with your liberal beliefs just to get a taste of that sweet, sweet liberal lovin'.
And don't even get me started on the illuminaties that come to mind when I think about these lying assholes. I'm talking demonic horns sprouting from their foreheads, their tongues flicking out like snakes as they spew their lies, their eyes turning red with the fires of hell as they try to seduce you with their fake liberal bullshit.
But let me tell you, if you want a real man, you need to find someone who's authentic and true to their beliefs. Whether they're conservative or liberal, they need to own it and be proud of who they are. And if they're lying about something as fundamental as their political beliefs, what else are they lying about?
So don't be fooled by these lying scumbags. Find someone who's real, someone who's true to themselves, and someone who can transvestigate you the kind of all seeing eyes that you deserve.
I don't know a lot about that app but I would guess a character limit is at least in part responsible for the perception of rudeness. It's hard to figure out a respectful way of saying something when you are struggling to say it at all. And when it comes to dating apps, men generally assume no one is going to be reading it anyway.
All that said, liberal is a pretty broad term. Surely you've heard of TERFs? They largely consider themselves liberal. The tiniest awareness of real life injustice, and the desire that something be done about it, is all it really takes to fall under the term liberal. It doesn't have to mean the person is opposed to all injustice, though most liberals would prefer that it did mean that - myself included, but I also acknowledge the practical benefits to having people who would only consider themselves allies for a tiny fraction of the fights worth fighting: those fights will be fought eventually, after all..

Well, I wouldn't mind the blunt honesty. I can be that way myself often. But I don't think anyone's dating preferences relate to their political beliefs, superficially speaking. It seems your real issue is just saying it in publically rather than waiting to tell them directly? I tend to lean toward wanting them to just say it in their bio, then I don't have to waste time messaging them, only to find out I wasn't their type for some reason.
As someone from a country with 10 political parties represented in our 169 seat parliament for a population of just 5,4 million... "Conservative" and "liberal" is almost useless tags because *everyone* has far more nuanced views then that. Even in countries like the US that has first past the post and therefore mainly two parties.
I suggest that if politics is important to you in a partner that you get to know them before you do something you might regret with them.
Honestly speaking, I think there’s a difference between being liberal and open to accept the dignity of “different” people and having sexual tastes or preferences. This was a dating app screen so the guy evidenced his own tastes and there’s nothing wrong with it, it has poorly to do with being liberal and acceptation of differences, being liberal doesn’t mean his sexual tastes have to be inclusive.

For one thing, some "perspectives" are not worth respecting, let alone accepting, and we make those judgments every day whether we realize it or not. For example: flat earthers. If you tell me you believe that, sure, I can accept that you believe it. But I'm not going to "respect" your belief because there's a mountain of proof that you're wrong. Another example: " Drag Queens are sexually abusing kids." As a perspective, what is it based on? It's certainly not evidence based if you compare the number of drag queens arrested and charged with SA vs the number of clergy, child care workers, or FAMILY members who are. So, I've no reason to "respect your perspective" if that's it because it's simply not true.

I think he might well actually be liberal, centrist, or slightly right. Notice his list: (1) Trans — he wants a real woman; quite understandable. Probably has mostly been matched with trans. Doesn't mean any dislike or non-acceptance.
(2) Obese — he wants at least mildly attractive women. Also, if I had to guess, many of his matches have also been with the obese.
(3) This one is most telling. Chances are, it is conservative girls who'd be the ones with this stance. He is not dating for marriage (as many conservatives tend to do). So, that's already a hint that he's not super conservative at the minimum.
Because most women (in the West) are TERRIFIED of not being part of the popular crowd and standing on their own 2 feet-thus likely taking criticism. Guys know how quickly they'll scream to the sky how liberal they are IN A SECOND to keep from being ostracized, so it's the only way for us. I lost count LONG AGO of how many females I've come across who are from well off families, all espousing how "liberal" they are... but don't want to go anywhere the places that are the most busted up and risky. They just like it sounds to say it and the pats on the back they get at parties. I've had those same females tell me I don't deserve a place to live in for having more conservative leanings, though I've lived in and helped families in the very areas they've never been anywhere near. They're all talk. We know it. Want to date one? Then you have to lie.

Might he mean liberal in the classical sense like free speech, free markets, free trade? I think that's usually "conservative" by today's standards. I get confused since I'm one of those but I seem to be "conservative" or maybe "libertarian" or "classic liberal" by American standards. I am pro-family though (but atheist).
For example, to me low-taxes is very liberal. But Americans think of low taxes as "tax cuts for the rich". They call supply-side economics which I think is very liberal as "trickle-down right-wing economics". So I am very confused about the terms nowadays. I don't know what to call myself now. I still think I'm liberal like very small government, zero to no welfare, very free and unregulated markets, free speech, free trade, no tariffs, open borders unless there is welfare (then definitely close the hell out of them), pro-guns, etc.

To preface, I've only ever seen this in comedy sketches. I'm sure with 8 billion people on the planet it technically happens but I'd imagine it is exceptionally rare.

And I don't think conservative people 'should' only be with conservative people, but I do agree that a relationship, even if more or less just sexual, should be rounded on authenticity. Deception is rarely justified.

I think at its most basic, men will rise to the standards women set. Liberal women on average are more likely to have no strings sex, and so men are going to capitalize on getting easy sex no matter what their personal politics are.
It's really a simple matter of economics: conservative women value and respect themselves more, and expect more from a man in return for sex, where liberal women, again on average, tend not to lately. When it is time to make an investment in a woman as a long term partner, put a ring on it, buy a home and have her be the biggest influence on his children, a conservative woman is the winning bet. Prior yo that point, most young men, on average, are more than happy to use their part yo help liberal women ride the cock carousel through their 20's and 'liberate' her from her youth, beauty, self-worth, self-respect, dignity, and emotional stability, until she realizes that liberal sexuality is a losing proposition.
You can still be liberal and have those preferences.. Or do you mean leftist. Because leftists aren't liberals. Classical liberals like my self have more in common with conservatives than we do with modern leftists.

Yes there are more discreet ways to say it, I just don't see how not being discreet makes him unable to be a liberal. I know for a fact that left leaning people were gloating over a lesbian woman losing her job because she dared to like a right leaning tweet or follow someone on Twitter. Rude people can be anywere on the political spectrum.
